I need some help. I need some input on the best way to make my MIDI connections. Right now I own a DIGI002, MPC2500, Axiom 49 keyboard controler, and ad SD-80 sound module, and i have a MIDIspor 4x4 USB interface.
What's the ideal setup so I can use my Axiomto control sounds on the 2500 and the sound module?
How do I set up if I only want the MPC pads to play the SD-80?
And saving the best for last, What is the best setup for syncing everything to ProTools 7.4 and Reason 4.0 as a sound bank?
Right now I have it this way but I have heard conflicting recommendations:
Axiom 49 MIDI out --->MIDIsport In A
2500 MIDI out A-->MIDIsport in B
SD-80 MIDI out 1---> MIDIsport in C
MIDIsport Out B ---> 2500 MIDI in A
MIDIsport Out C ----> SD-80 in 1
So is this the right way? or should I hook up everything directly and bypass the MIDI interface? Hope fully someone out there can help me!!!!! thanx
