No real big thing, but i got my 2500 today after changing from a 2000XL

First impressions are i really like it.
the grid edit, the effects, q link sliders and chop shop all look pretty schweet .

Load up times are also fast, but of course you lot in here know this already.

So,,,LOL
If u wanna say welcome to the mpc2500 club do so and drop a little trick that you might have learnt along the way.

i was told by some one if you hold a pad down in two opposing corners you can get a flanging effect...is this true
(Random fact of the day but hey... will try it out later)

will get on the MPC tonight when i gots some time

how do?

download the latest os from akaipro.com.

you may find that you have problems recovering your saves, i have had no problems using this method below.

When I save I create a folder - SONG1, then I save Programs and Samples, then I Save Seqs And Songs, then I save Entire Memory all to that folder.
When I come back to this SONG1 again, make some changes, first I create a new folder called SONG2, then I save Progs Samps, Seq Songs, Entire Mem.

I've never had a problem this way. It basically saves all MPC settings so when you come back to the machine all Compressor settings etc are stored also.
