yo j tawn, try explaining how to study hip hop without using an eminem and dilla reference. that just makes u sound like a 14 year old girl.

and as far as copying peoples style, blablabla. i was inspired to make my own music by the original artists that dre/muggz/ali shaheed muhammad/rza/dilla, etc. sampled.
try listening to music with musicians for inspiration. study music theory and then maybe we can talk.
until then, keep strting threads asking how u should make ur music.

eminem used to be good. hes pretty much a perfect example of how money will change you as an artist and how you must follow trends if you want to sell records and youll be poor as fuc if you stay underground. as far as saying his style is original i duno was lmno around in the soundbombing days? them cats styles are mighty similar.
