Getting a New Set-up need help!!!

i have an mpc1000 and getting a new set-up, i run logic 8 and i am trying to get the mpc hooked up through logic...i also have my decks n mixer and i was just thinking of gettin a mackie 12 channel mixer to run everything through.

if anyone has any suggestions or idea's that would be cool.

A multi input audio interface would be good. That way you could record all of the MPC's outputs at once on separate tracks in Logic.
You would probably only need a small mixer then to monitor everything through.
The Mackie is cool but 12 channels might be too much unless you have other hardware as well to run through it.
