PROBLEM with muting tracks, please help.

Hello, dear MPC-ers.

I have a problem with my MPC500. When I try to mute tracks (be it via pads or via data wheel), only Pad 1 does something, and that something is muting ALL the tracks at once. Because I need the track muting option for live performances, I could really use some help. Thanks in advance.

so if you hit a pad its muting every trak exept the one you hit? sounds like you have solo function on. Look for somethin that says solo and turn it off then it should work fine.

It mutes every track including the one i hit. Solo function is also turned off.

You have to record each pad on a seperate track in order to use the mute function effectively.
