Chopping a sample into peices

i'm having a problem trying to fiqure out how to chop 1 sample into several different peices and assigning them to different pads..can someone help me out with this step by step?

2kxl manual. pg 98-104. WTF man, people just ignore the FUKK outta the manual?!?! R U kidding me?!?!
You get a multi hundred dollar machine and you don't get the documents for it?!?! jk

yeah u right homie..actually i lost my manual a while back but i just found it a couple of days ago..but it does help u out with "anything" u need to know..

Nah, the manual is the basic functions of the machines. Some people confuse basic functions and techniques and those are the ones who claim stuff aint in the manual, of course it aint, the manual will cover the functions, not different techniques you are trying out.

Did you find a manual online?

Look there for your manual. In both 2k/2kxl zone editing and trimming are there. Good luck.

yeah i'm good with that problem but i just ran into another one..i chopped the sample into pieces and then put them on the pads but i noticed the samples had went over n replaced my drums on pad a...i just wanna know how u assign the chopped samples to certian pads when done zoning
