Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By lowtense Fri Jul 11, 2008 10:34 pm
Just sampling the night away on my 2000XL and was wondering...
Is it possible (workaround/trick) to add or delete a zone without affecting the previously defined zones?
I sampled a beat, cut it into 10 pieces instead of 8 and i want to delete these last to parts, but i don't want to delete my start and end points of the first 8 zones...

Anyone? Cheers!

im not 100% so correct me if im wrong but i think any edit function (which is what you need) in zone resets the zone envelopes?

...hmmm, afraid so.
I frequenty work with ReCycle so i was hoping the 2000xl had similar features as this piece of software.
If anyone else has a suggestion; you're welcome!

That's what I was thinking also, it still keeps all the points cause the data is still there it's just silenced.

or save zones as their own wav and sequence them how you like. That way you don't have to be worried about the start stop points in zone mode.
