Does the 3000 allow you to hear (at ALL TIMES.. not just during in the record screen), whats being played thru the record ins like the newer mpcs? Lets say I had my computer soundcard hook up to the mpc record ins and wanted to audition drum sounds off the computer as the sequence was playing in the mpc, could I do this? Am I able to play the sequence in the Record Sample mode on the 3000? I want to audition my drums on my computer as I am hearing the sample being played inside the 3000. And then record the drums I want to use into the mpc from my computer.... I Know its kinda of confusing but if anybody understands what Im talking about please let me know... lol thank you!!

are you able to listen to the sequence when your in the recording screen? Is this something you need the valixi OS for? or is this something you cant do at all? if so that really sucks. How are you supposed to audition sounds?

Most people audition sounds using a DJ mixer. This is the easiest way.

yeah I guess i could do that, just hook up my mixer to my speakers and then record into the mp when i find the right sounds.....

Does anybody know if you are you able to play the sequence as your in the record screen at all? With the vailixi os maybe?
