HELP Samples I have ONLY play in trim mode and NOWHERE else

I hope someone has a quick fix for this seeing it happened almost immediately after my MPC was unplugged as I was using it. NOW all of a sudden, I can hear every sample I have loaded ONLY in TRIM MODE. I try to assign the samples to PADS and nothing! This happened instantly after the unplugging of my MPC1000 while I was using it. I powered back up and got this frustrating problem. I'm pretty inexperienced besides the basics of my MPC so please someone tell me there is a simple solution. If not I dont know what the best option to go about repairing this would be. If anyone has any answers for me I'd appreciate it greatly!!! Thanks

Use the factory default reset -- Power the unit on whilst holding the ERASE key. If that doesn't do it, you may have to reinstall the operating system.
