is there really 64MB in this thing??

my mpc 5000 is suppos to have 64mb memory but wen i turn it on it only reads 61.4MB i already erased the flash rom and when i load some programs it has about 3MB left but if i try to load a 1Mb sample it says no memory available when the box says it has 3MB free

Is it only me having this problem???>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Your machine will also need some of that 64 as workspace so maybe you won't get the the full 64 for sampling.

61 is probably right.

all ram/storage is like this.
2gb flash drives not a full 2gb, buy a cpu w/ 4gb ram get maybe 3.87.
just the way these things work w/ ALL electronic shit
