We are looking into it but that is one of the things that got brought up...it might not be removable

I don't care. I don't plan on ever removing it. Do it! All I need is clear with white lettering. Simple!

EDIT: oh and bonus points if we can get the lettering and whatnot in different colors!

And the lettering in different fonts, colors and sizes! That would be DOPE! Plus, those clear acrylic decals should be way less expensive. Kinda like a big sticker with holes punched in it! lol! :D

Yeah, I wasn't even aware that your other covers were removable...
But this sounds cool by me, I too think different colors for lettering is a good idea, at the very least black & white options.

Just make sure you are using high resolution images for the best results. I hate having to email customers to tell them their image is not gonna work. You want an image that is at least 1000-1200 pixels wide/high for most gear. Smaller ones will work but the quality is not as good as it could be

You can upload 10mb images if you want.

Decided to go for a very DIY look on my blue 2kXL MCD

Will fabricate wooden end panels in a red wood with black stain, paint the cover a gloss black with red or silver pearl, spray my "bitsmasher" logo red in rough stencil-style, vinyl dye the buttons black or red depending on location and use dymo emossing for the labels. Will look very future/retro, with a rough touch. I can picture it in my head, and if all goes wrong I can just throw a vinyl applique over it when it comes time to sell ;)

I'm definately going to try this! I have two designs in my head! One clean and one not so clean! Just as soon as I work out a few alignment issues (on my part), I'm going to upload my design for ordering! Here's one of my ideas!

Image Not trying to offend anyone, but here's my first idea.... if I go for the dirty look! My original design has a resolution of 300, but this example has been edited in low resoluton for me to post here! The original is much more vivid!

yes they are..what i did was i sanded the whole mp, then left the "grain" look by stroking course sand paper in the direction i wanted it..then laid painter's tape accross the whole left side of the mpc, then taped a print out of the logo, carefully cut it up with the exacto knife..then left just the logo taped off..got some flat black at the auto store, let it cure for about 3 days..sand..take off the tape, then you lay a couple coats of clear coat to protect from rusting..then you put some regular car wax..buff it out, and whammy..
