retriggering samples in mpc60?

i'm trying to figure out if there's a way that i can set it up so when i'm using my mpc-60II, which is running the 3.01 OS, i believe, i can retrigger a sample from the beginning if i play it while it's already playing. what i mean is, say i have a vocal phrase that goes, "get loose now!" assigned to a pad. i want to know if it's possible for me to hit it several times, and hear, "g-g-g-g-get loose, get loose now!", retriggering every time i hit it. i know this is a really stupid and long explanation, but i didn't know the exact technical term for what i wanted to do. i just picked my mpc up a couple weeks ago and i'm still learning the ins and outs, you know?

If you just want the start of the sample to restart when you hit a pad do this: push sounds button, go to menu 2, push the pad you want to retrigger and put it on mono instead of poly.
