Dont trust this guy - he's been here under various usernames trying to sell his 4000 video.

If he knows so much about the MPC4000, why the hell does he ask so many basic questions on this forum?

Hmmm, I was wondering when the geek formerly known as Solardigital would come back for an encore :roll: How much $$$ does this guy think he can actually make off a 4000 video? If time = $$$, this guy makes $.02 per hour. Figure out a better scam seriously. I work in film & video for a living and could easily put a pro DigiBeta shoot together for next to nothing. If I thought it was possible to make good $$$ off a 4000 video, believe me, I would have already put it out. And it would blow away anything this guy could ever come up with. :twisted:

If you want a better scam, start a worm farm. You can sell worm sh1t for top $$$ to gardeners. It great fertilizer for plants. No kidding! :lol:

To be honest, I think the guy probably bought the SampleKings MPC4000 video and then runs off copies of it. From the questions he has asked here, it sounds like he knows very little about the MPC4000 - certainly not enough to be making a tutorial video.

I plan on making one within the next couple of months. I'm picking up the 4000 tomorrow; standard with no hard drive or cd-rom drive, no 8 outs.
I'll be installing all the extras myself and puttin it in the video along with the basics;
Loading/Saving Samples
Organizing Files
Creating Programs/Saving Programs
Basic Midi Hookup and sequencing (I'll use two proteus family sound modules and the korg Triton)
Creating songs
I will not cover step recording; I don't believe in it. (sorry)
Swing settings
Effects
I'll be using Final Cut pro 2 or even Imovie 3. Doesn't really matter; I've seen fantastic results from both programs with a sony trv 20 and a g4 500 laptop (movie quality stuff). Anyhow; you'll be getting a video from a practical and personal perspective from a small project studio owner that will aid in the transition from the 2000xl to the 4000 or a first time 4000 owner. I hope You guys will check it once it's done.
Please!!!! (www.4ament.com) go ahead and visit that site. I just re-did it using nothing more than adobe golive/livemotion 2 and my g4 laptop. I learned from a book I picked up a couple of months ago.
Peace
