MPC 1000, lagging

Hey, I'm trying to sequence on my mpc1000 jjos 3.08 and for some reason when I record into or input samples it plays drastically slower than how I hear it before I record it in. Any ideas on what it may be?

make sure you didn't shift pitch when sampling

are you using SPDIF?

nope. Just audio cables.

Anything I plan in , plays out of the mpc totally off.

do you have your Autoload set to load any saved samples? If so check that you aren't loading any samples that have the wrong sample rate

sometimes loading just one sample at 48khz can throw off the sample timing of the entire machine until you reset it -- I've done this before when SPDIF settings on my audio source got reset

if that's not it, try re-flashing the OS
