Just Won Bid on an MPC2000xl for £210 ($418)... Scam?

Hi, i just won this item off ebay at a 'buy it now' price of £210 ($418USD aprox).

The guy hasnt listed it very well, with little discription and bad gramma, which at this price leads me to think that it might be a scam.
The seller has 100% feedback after 20 transactions.
The MPC is missing the front panel (Clearly shown in the picture) however it is all plugged in and turned on (Also shown in the pic), so it looks to be fully functional.

I havnt payed for the item yet, as i dont wanna end up with a duff MPC.

I would really appreciate if you guys could check out the link below and tell me what you think of the item, and weather or not its a scam, or a great bargin, and weather you would pay for this item off eBay if you were in my position.

he's selling it for that less for a reason. there are a lot of quirks that you need to fix.

I mean i can see that the front panel will need replacing and after fitting an internal Zip drive into my other 2000xl, i am comfortable in replacing that dodgy floppy.
Other than that and a few screws, what else will need doing for the MPC to be functional?
Am i missing something?

I would buy it, you can get the missing parts from vst or mpc stuff and get the MPC checked and fixed here: http://www.touched-by-sound.com/
even after that i would be a steal.

Congrats a good buy I would have bought it myself for this price, even when it's faulty you can send it to the link i gave to you. They investigate all faults for 30€ (I'm not sure if it's exactly 30 but something like that) and make a cost estimate for the repair then.
Then you still can get rid of it or get the job done and keep it.
