MPC TRIGGER VST OFF TEMPO??

so I have a hi hat in the mpc at 90 bpm and i have a vst drum machine in cubase hooked to the mpc and also have a hi hat that i want to play along with the first hi hat thats in the mpc, so the one in the mpc is in perfect time but when i record the vst one it seems to no land exaclty on time as the one in the mpc , is that some setting or latency i need to change , what about Later or Early function in the mpc should i use those as well? ok any help would be great cuase being of tempo really sounds bad thanks.

can we get a brief description of your setup, such as audio card, if you are using a DAW, etc... Thanks
