okay guys first of all execuse my bad english
i live in indonesia and here we dont have guys like forat or vst..

and i dont want 2 send my 3000 overseas to get it fix..might wont come back


so i decided to fix the 3k by myself..but i need your help
my 3k screen is off..i know a lotta you guy mention the foil
but the sad thing is..i dunno the foil is (yes is pathetic)

the reason im joining this forum is to get my 3k back in shape..
you guys have a ton experience on this gear,,so ii think im joining the rite forum.
maybe in the future imma share what i know to the rookie and do the same thing like yall do


i already open my 3k

what should i do to bring the light back?

If it's showing nothing at all, it's not the foil. If it's readable, but not even a dim glow comes on, or it went down over night, it's probably also not the foil.

The foil is what the two leads are connected to in your first pic.

Is the backlight supposed to be super bright? I can see my screen fine. In the daylight its a little hard to see but i dont know if it is really supposed to be any brighter? Ill post a picture and maybe one of you can can tell me. I mean i dont really need to but I would like to do it one day just so its really bright and a little easier to see.

It's just some foam to make it fit nicely against the casing.

I said already...the foil is what the two leads are connected to. But make sure first that the foil is really the problem.

And no, those kind of displays are not really very bright. Hard to say though if yours is okay still or not, even with a photo, because it depends a lot on ambient lighting and exposure time how it looks on the pic.

yup..
i really want this beast fix man, thats one of my reason joining this forum..
plus i posted a video and drop my 3k machine pics...
please if someone know how to do it lemme know...

ill try everything..google/yahoo/youtube but there's no tutorial how to fix the 3k..
ill try my best with my pathetic english language..

well if i dont solve this problem..
then im back using Flstudio and Reason
