MPK49 Reset Question

Hey guys,

I know that this is MPC Land but its the only place that has a user base that might know how to help me.

I'm sure its a long shot but does anyone know how to do a factory reset on the MPK49? Does Akai have a universal reset that the MPC all use that might work?

Well there is a way to erase the OS but this was to upgrade mine from 1.02 to 1.03. It involves a program, holding down three buttons and so on. just go to http://www.akaipro.com/mpk49 click on docs and downloads, If u havent been there before u need to type in ur first and last name, e mail address, u dont need to put in ur zip code and u can choose if u want a newsletter from akai or to remember you whenever u go back, then click submit then it takes u to the download section. It has all the info there cuz if i try to explain it might not come out right. chances are u might be askin for somethin else but this might help. if anything else let me know.

Press Preset
Press [>] until FACTORY appears
Press Enter
