NO MIXER?????

All in all i'm happy with the 500 (impulse buy lol) but I Can't seem to find the mixer function on this joint(like my 1000).......No reference to it in the manual either......unless the term mixer isn't used for this function.......a'lil'help here lol!!!!

Dunno how that works on the 1000. On the 500 you just the individual levels in program mode. You can probably assign it to the slider somehow but I don't do it like that . . .

Thanks, on the 1000/2500 etc. there's a pad labled mixer when you hit mode, and then you can adjust volume, assign outs and effects to the individual pads...and they can be assinged to the qlink sliders. You can also adjust vol in program mode, but it's done by numbers instead of the bar graph type display....thanks again though....it was racking my brain ......

Yeah, the 500 probably lacks that type of mixer since there's not multiple outs.

yeah, theres only 2 outs, no mixer per say, just a volume adjuster in program mode, but thats already been said

. so i just record each track seperatley into logic as hot as i can and mix levels in that, and add effects and whatever. i dont know if your using and outboard multitracking program or not, so it might not apply to you.

You can use the "SEQ EDIT" as a kind of mixer.

Go to "Edit velocity" and use the "MULTI V%" function. This only works if the samples is responding to velocity by increasing and decreasing volume.

There's no mixer function in 500. You generally mix when in Program mode by adjusting the pan position of the sounds and their volume.

thats kinda what i do on my 25k anyway. never used the mixer function. it's kinda pointless when you have multiple ways to adjust volumes of things.
