Buttons turn into yellow\Change buttons

Did anybody got an idea how to clean up the buttons from yellow to white?
After the year they are ugly yellow

Mild soap or something like that?OXYCLEAN

It's probably the resin from on your fingers.

Beige plastic has a terrible habit of yellowing over time when exposed to light (natural or artificial). Once that happens, it is impossible to change. It is actually a chemical reaction in the plastic. The best thing you can do to prevent this from happening is to keep the unit covered when not in use, so no light gets to it.

Of course, I haven't seen your MPC, so maybe it's like JUKE 179r said - you got goo on your fingers and you got it on the buttons.

Yeah good luck trying to turn them white again without buying new ones it ain't gonna happen.

Old thread I know, but I will add on anyway.

In the Commodore 64/Amiga community there is a process called Retrobrite that will turn yellowing Plastic to its original color.

Humidity will also accelerate the yellowing of Oldschool Plastic.

I think the process will work wonders on the 3ks, s950's, 60's etc..buttons, but don't know if the weak silk screening on them will hold up to the chemical.
