First of all, sorry for my bad english!
I'm totally new to the MPC60 and having some issues with programs.
I sampled a lot of drums and some piano-sounds... In program 1, I put all my drums and in program 2, I put all my piano-sounds.
back in the main screen I have a sequence with 2 tracks, one for my drums an one for my piano-melody. So I selected track 1 and chose "pgm: 1" and on track 2 i chose "pgm: 2"
I don't know if this is correct but for me, it looked like logical way to do it.
Now the problem:
I select track one and record my drum pattern, switch to track 2 but the sound are still the ones from program 1... even though it displays "pgm: 2".... i have to select the "pgm"-thing...switch it to "1" and back to "2"...then i will hear the pgm-2 sound on track 2.
after i recorded the second track. i noticed that the drum pattern on track 1 is played with the sound from pgm-2....
so the last pgm I switched to is selected for all tracks....
what am i doin wrong?
what is the normal way to set up a couple of pgms and assign them individually to certain tracks in a seq?
again... sorry for my bad english
