Using Aksys with your favorite DAW/EDITOR

Just curious to see if any of you 4k users out there take advantage of this feature. It's the bomb for me, 'cause it works with most of my apps and I think it's one of the premier features of the 4k.

I also noticed if your DAW is a little unstable, this will also of course affect the performace of the program (duh).

So how many of you out there rely on this feature and the different ways of using it?

Yeah, Probably!

You're right that is a cool feature. I remember it being so convenient to access samples from RAM send it into something like Adobe edition, edit, and send it back to RAM.

Things like that set the 4k apart.

LOL Yeah, but I don't think a lot of new 4k users understand the Ak.sys feature.

I don't use the keygroup tweaks, just samples back and forth to Soundsoap/graphic EQ/reverb mostly.

A few years ago, before Peak-wiretap, I used to record streams of rare joints thru spdif, then transfer them to the desktop thru aksys, and open & convert in iTunes.
