Backing up stuff from mpc4k to pc via akasys

After reading those horror stories about total harddisc crashes, i would like to make back ups,, The problem is that i dont have a cd-burner.
Is it possible to safe whole maps on the pc via akasys???
If i can safe whole projects on my pc via akasys, i can burn it to cd on the pc.
