just checking out this little guy. one question that came up - is it possible to pan tracks or pads to the left and right? i don't see a "mixer" section on it.

Pads yes, tracks I'm not sure. I'd have to look.

It can only be done in program mode on single pads.

You an also add the effect "auto pan" in FX section.

oo auto pan?? whats that all about? how does it decide where to pan shtt? and yeah i figured it would be pads. that's good. kinda looking into one. although some awesome beats i've made were totally done because of the help of seeing the waveforms, or other features of the 25k, i'm intrigued by chopping by ear and having the power of a newer mp at the same time. to be honest, it seems like what the 500 offers is enough for anyone whos got skill. and honestly, sometimes i dont feel like sitting in the basement and working on drum programs, sometimes even being cooped in one spot to make beats. i'd rather sit with some headphones on the couch and steadily chop breaks. even get a $10 microphone and sample the world around.
