New 2 the MPC1000 world

Wat up. Im stoked cause i just got an MPC1000 but the only thing is i can't figure out how 2 start laying down some beats. I've read the manual, but it hasn't helped that much.Any help or tips will help.thanx

Not to be a dick, but the mpc1000 tutorial from mpc-samples helped a lot.

try youtube... The manual was more than helpful for me.... I also got the Tutorial this site offers and it was spectacular.. I still read parts of it once a week.
