ok so here is a little problem that really has been irritating me. i have a short sample assigned to a pad. i want to hit the pad, then hit the pad again without having the sounds from the previous hit overlap with the second hit. get what i'm saying? with note on i have to hold it down then pick up my finger (creating a short pause) then hit the pad and hold it down again. on the boss sp you don't have to do this. when you hit the pad the sample starts over and does not overlap. any thoughts? i'm using jj os 3.08.

huh? surely u just set the pad to be oneshot, and mono, then itls play the sample and then on the second hit re- play the sample, with no overlaps

you could do mute groups which i like to do so it doesn't waste pads. and by that i mean if you make your program mono and you have 12 samples, and then you have other samples that you want over those 12 previous samples you can't. so use mute groups and then you don't waste pads.
