Help sourcing the ram expansion board

VST= no, forat offers the hack job. i think ima just look for a s950 or a s3000 but let me know if you come across one. Thanks for the help.

I have one MPC60/60II memory for $150

I also have one Akai s950 Memory for $150

Both Official OEM Akai Memory. Not the remakes or hacks.

Are there any differences between the original and the remakes? You got PM.

i know mik @ soundlogic says he guarantees his "remakes" for LIFE, good luck gettin that kind of "warrantee" on ANYTHING out of akai... not that it does much good if hes out of stock though, i guess your money back would be bettre than nothing though...

I am very interested in purchasing the memory if it is still available. Just got a 60 II and, although the seller said it had the expansion to 26.2 sec, the machine is only showing 4.5 sec.

That's right I think if you only have OS 2.12 you have to sample in 4.5 sec increments

Actually, I have the 3.03 OS. Does that mean I've got to upgrade to 3.10 before it shows the full 26.2 sec?

Oh you have a late model 60 II then no he must of takin out the ram before he sold it to you I bet.
