Is there a such thing as a MPC 5000? If so, can n-e of you all let me know where I can purchase one? If not, is there one coming out? If so, when? I ask because I friend of mine told me that the one that David Banner had in T.I.'s video, Rubberband Man, was a MPC 5000. Let me know...

the one in the video is a 4000. I doubt there will be a 5000 coming out for awhile.

what does that link prove? it is just rumor. Why would akai release another mpc after the 4000 pro, 2000xl semi pro, and Mpc1000 benginer are allready in the market. This is just a ridicoulus rumor. The 2000xl is still selling and is being produced.
