FOUND SOME NEW WAV SAMPLES IN A WEIRD SPOT...............

WHATZ GOOD ,THIS SCROOGE. I WAS SURFING THE NET EARLIER, AND DECIDED TO CHECK OUT KORG FORUMS, I CLICKED ON SAMPLES AND LIBRARIES. ON THE FIRST PAGE IT SAYS FREE SAMPLES, CLICKED ON THAT, AND WHEN I DID...........................10 GB OF WAV FILES 16.BIT 44K. THATS THE BIZNESS MY DUDES.ITS A GOLDMINE. GOOGLE KORG FORUMS. CHUUUUCH! http://WWW.MYSPACE.COM/CHICAGOCONFIDENTIALENT, USUALLY I DON'T GIVE UP MY DRUM SOURCES BUT I'LL DO IT JUST THIS ONCE! THIS WAS TOO SWEET!

No problem Avene. Im looking out for the forum. Glad you like it, like i said i was surfing looking for some korg m3 samples, and stumbled upon a goldmine. They some tight samples too, done by berklee music students. Its been a decent day, we got a new os real quick and I found some more kits. Im downloading as we speak, Thats the bizzness!

Those samples are for the OLPC I see.. That's the 'One Laptop Per Child' laptop they're giving to kids in 3rd world countries, like in Africa and everywhere. The laptops are wireless, so the kids can be in touch with each other in remote villages, even without a phone line. It's a good project, but with these samples, those kids are gonna be doing beats now too! The OLPC laptops have some music software on there, and even a synthesizer program.

I can't seem to find the WAV samples you're talking about! Everything on Korg Forums seems to be in Korg formats (I've downloaded lots my Triton over the years). Can you give me a more specific link?

And thanks for the tip! I'm on my first trip with the 500 and trying to put together some programs for myself.
