AKAI .akp Program File......

I was just wondering what was the advantage of using this file format? This is a option for exporting in the RECYCLE 2.1 series.

It's an imstrument sample standart. It's another format than the .pgm for mpc's.

I use it in Recycle all the time.
When you export in .akp format 16bit 44.1 .wav, you can open the .akp file in MPC1000 Program Creator or MPC Editor and the samples will be automatically assigned to pads in the order in which you chopped.

Yes, but it really benifits in saving time making programs with the available Program Creators out there.

Yea i didnt have to much knowledge about those, i just recently seen comments on em' n i checked em out here n their. I think im gonna get 2 that just yet tho. Those software program reminds me of the SP555. But i will def. use MPC-Editor in the future. I dont wanna overwelm myself wit 2 much sh**. I need to pack in lots n lots of info about this lil BIG MPC-500
