finally! after two years of not even admitting that there was a bug they fixed it...

so this was the long awaited (and needed) os upgrade to fix the last bugs, now i wonder if we also get feature upgrades in the future like the 1000 got and like akai promised for the 5000 and basically for the whole product line.

what i don´t like is the fact that you have to register if you want to download from akaipro now and the german website is not updated yet.

I'm glad Akai did't forsake the 2500 by giving us the bug fixes although, I would have liked to have seen some new features. Do you guys think that OS 1.24 is it for the 2500 since the 5000 is the new flagship ?

The Reason why the german Site is not Up to Date is simple.......

Because they have Holliday about 29.07.2008 - 22.08.2008

Bon Voyage......

You don't need to register. Just enter anything into the fields and there you go.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like they finally managed to fix the file system, huh?

1.24!!!!!

I feel somewhat un-impressed. I guess we should be thankful that they have addressed those bugs, let's just hope they haven't introduced anything else either...

i seriously doubt it. i was under the impression that the 5000 has now superceded the 2500 and that 2500 was being fazed out because JJ pinched the OS.

5. Fixed issue where MIDI clock sync would drift when MPC2500 was slave.

i definitely noticed this and im glad they fixed it, my 2000xl sounds fine when it's slaved. i noticed my beats sound different on the 2500 when i track them out with protools as the master and that pissed me off
