Long Samples Stop As Loop Goes Round!?

Hi.

When i make a loop (2/4/8 bar) and try to play a long audio sample over the top, it cuts out when the loop goes round. On the downbeat, the sample will stop playback.

Im on OS 2.11. Anyone know what this could be?
