polyphony track mute

Muting a track dose not delete it from the polyphony, so if you have 33 long loops that you which to mute in and out to do your song, you need to delete them from the sequence, otherwise you run out of voices. This sucks. Ore is there a smarter workaround?

Depending on whats going on you can resample them and play them back that way. So if you take 5 samples and resample you can ditch the ones you resampled and just use the one. Make sense? Im sure theres other ideas but thats I came up with off the top.

use note off, and get your durations spot on.

one bar is 384 and so forth, also use mono loops were u can if u run outta voices.

Even though it's extra work, it can also be worth bouncing down a track or more into one new sample to free up more voices/fx.

figure out where you want your mutes, and instead of using track mutes program accordingly -- meaning don't play the sample where you don't want it to play and then it won't be using up any voices.
