Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey...

New to the forum, I'd like to think I'm not gonna be someone that posts one query, has his problem solved and then disappears lol, hopefully I can be a part of the best MPC community in the woooorld :)

Basically yea, I have had a 2000XL for a few years now, right now though I am trying to dabble in the dark arts of PC music too, I was wondering what is the best, most efficient and productive way to assign sounds I have on my PC, chopped up in Adobe Audition 3, to pads on my 2000XL ?

Obviously this machine has no USB, however it would seem like a real waste to have to record through Audio In after chopping and EQing my samples prior to this...

Talk to me people :)

if you are useing reason you could load all your samples into the NNXT
and trigger them from the MPC .. this way you can load larger samples
and have more room to create .. i use the NNXT as a dedicated MPC
module in reason .. because you can load a truck load of samples into it
set the MPC up and trigger everyone as if it were loaded on the MPC
with more power to tweek/bend/break the sample into whatever you want without
haveing to worry about memory problems ...
just the humble opinion of a alcholic/pothead producer
lol
