Hello all,

after upgrading from os 1.23 to 1.24 my right input is no longer working!
i checked every setting, changed cables, tried another synth direct in and even did another factory reset but the input won´t work.
anyone have the same problem?

there are some treads about outs not longer working, but nobody found a solution, yet.
the input might be dead for some time also - i can´t confirm that for sure as i was only sampling mono bass guitar for the last few months. yesterday i wanted to sample a keyboard in stereo and noticed the problem. the only change in my setup was the os upgrade two days ago.

peace jo

they still haven't fixed the wrong file bug. i went to load one of my newest programs and it said wrong file. and in order for my samples to play i had to rename almost all my folders. this is madness (no this is not SPARTA) :x

Did you reformat the drive(s) after upgrading? Gotta do that or it won't help as the bug is in the format routine. Also, there's nothing that can be done about files that have previously been corrupted.

yeah i reformatted the hard drive and reloaded the samples. the program i went to load was one i had loaded a few times and never had a problem until i upgraded the os.

That's unfortunate. It's kinda hard to call it with anything that was saved with the previous format routine thou. However, you could be right and I would not be surprised if they did not properly fix the issue. Maybe they even made it worse. Time and more user reports will tell.

i noticed this bug when trying to burn my songs/sequence to a CD...

when in song mode, i do the usual routine, arrange the sequences in the order i would like my song to be formatted.
in song mode, everything seems fine and plays the way it should play.

when i convert the song to a sequence (to be placed in an unused sequence on the main page), and i hit play to listen to it, it seems to have re-arranged some of the instruments from another program that wasn't even used in the creation of the beat i just made and trying to burn to the CD...

anyone else experience this???

That's not a bug actually. When you Convert to Sequence, all the track assignments on each sequence need to be exactly like on the first sequence, or the MPC mixes it up. That's even mentioned in the manual I think.

the problem with my right input is solved... after crawling behind my desk i noticed two misplaced cables in my patchbay which i wired up months ago. i had confused the right input and direct out 8. since i never used these two connections i didin´t realize until now.

other than that i had no problems and no new bugs yet...

word, i noticed chop shop laggin' too. i thought it was just me...

there seems to be a bug in chop shop for real though. it's super slow and sometimes when i choose autochop, my MP freezes up. it's happened 3 times already.
