Help Needed with my mpc

I am having a small problem with my mpc, on the mpc pads,where u have a a b c or d, sometimes when i try to go one of them say d? it wont let me,and it doesnt light up, anyone eles expereince this,if yu know what i mean

I dont understand the question.

difficult to explain,well i press the A B C D Button on the soundpads,sometimes they dont light up,so i cant go to C and sample music to the pad,then it will work again,and i wont be able to go pad d,i know its a bit confusing to explain

i think he means his pad bank buttons are faulty. maybe try cleanung the button contacts with soe conttact cleaner

I thought the problem was that he was mistaking a Speak & Spell for an MPC2000XL. That would just be wrong.

i assume (a$$ u me) that you are talking about the PAD BANK (bank being the key word)

those buttons BELOW the volume and gain knobs. then you are going to have to take the lid off and try using contact cleaner (detox i believe makes a great cleaner) and see if that will work if not then you will need to replace the contact buttons and i believe you can find that part on mpcstuff.com or vst service website.
