quick question on loading

my uncle sent me some sounds over yahoo, and i downloaded, an burnt to a disk. and when im loading them into my mpc, they read "not pcm . wav file" does this happen to any one else? what did you do when this oocured?

i did, your right. one of them said "not 16 bit", sorry ifthis is dum question, but do you know how i could change them into 16 bit? is their a specific program?

Most decent sound editors (ie soundforge, audition) should be able to do a batch convert.

thanks, im gonna try that when i get home. it also says "unexpected end-of-file", do you know abything about that too? should i also convert that to 16 bit?
