drum programming - step edit - sequencing

What's a excellent book to learn drum programming using step edit while sequencing on the mpc2500? rap n rnb

i dont know of one that goes in to specifics for step edit seq'ing.

what i meant was to bash out your beats til ur happy with the loop, then go in to step edit and reverse eng the seq.

I copped my 2500 in feburary this year, I never owned an mpc before and within no time i knew my way around the machine and was able bang out beats i'm happy with. Buy it, you wont regret it!
