gotta korg triton,mpc 2500 what else is needed.

i am working with a korg triton classic and a 128md mpc 2500 but not knowing too much about them sence i havent read the manuals ,just browsed the books to know the basics.I guess the qusetion would be is What else do i need to bring both these machines together and make some bad ass beats.I am currently going to be working with a guy who is gonna be teaching me pro tools and showing me what is needed but i just wanted to see what you other experts out there would recommend.I was told just to get pro tools woth a interface would make things happen pretty easy but i know there are many more options out there.

p.s. I lost my triton manual so i need to find one on e bay but i am slowly getting threw the mpc manual so when the time comes i will need alot more help.

Learn your machines first before thinking about stuff like ProTools I'd say.

yeah i guess reading the manuals would make things alot easier but is it completely neccesary to learn them to the max because ive decided to get pro tools so isnt that whats gonna be doing all the mixing,effects and mastering.I just stress on learning these two machines and im very impatiant when i just wanna bang out some beats,plus im add.

If it were as easy as connecting shit and pumping out Kanye beats, everyone would be doing this.

It takes months/YEARS for people to master their equipment and their creative/recording process. If you got into music thinking you'd immediately be tearing shit up, you're in for a surprise...

Take the time, and master your art. Learn what you need to learn (how your machines work, why they work in these ways, how you can manipulate their functions). If you think you need ProTools, then get it. But realize now, before you spend any more money, that you're not as dope as you think you are and it takes much much much practice to be good let alone different in this game.
