2gb compact flash issue, is this normal?

I just bought a branded 2gb compact flash (80x speed) and compared to the 128mb card that came with the unit it seems to take a hell of a lot longer for the usb drive to mount. Is the longer mounting time due to the size of the card etc? is this normal?

I experience the same thing when I insert my 4gb CF into my Mac. Takes a few seconds longer, but no big deal.

this is normal. The bigger the card, the longer load time.
