mpc 500 memory card problem

i lost the memory card that came with my mpc 500. any suggestions how to get another one with the library of samples that were included with it?

500 or 5000 ?

5000 doesn t have any memory card with sounds included ...everything is on the HD or Flash memory ( rom )

Try to write to akai pro and ask them. Maybe they will send it to you?!?
I don't have the samples anymore (erased it).

If you had the card you can get the sounds again. But since that's not the case you might be S.O.L on that. I would call AKAI up. . . . . . . . But in the mean time try & create your own sound library. Never know it might sound better than those stock AKAI sounds

I have still all the 500 sounds. If someone can explain me how I can get them online, I'll be able to help you.

The included sounds are the ghey anyway, cept maybe for some hi hats. You're not missing anything.

Record them on to AUDACITY or sumthing. Save em & send em VIA email

Just .ZIP them all up and put them on Zshare.

whowwhow, slow down. How do I do that? Zipping files? I really can't do shit on the comp. (that's why I use an mp)
