double sound on pad with Full Level on on 3000

Hi Guys

i'm a a newbie on the high old section of mpc
passing these days learning things and in scsi and in making music, and not be made from music with new technologies

however

just an info...
when i hit pad with Full Level on i heard a double sound... is this normal or i have to buy some new spare part for pads?

Go to program/sounds key under commands, data entry #2 key, go to poly and scroll to mono/or note off
