The mpc 1000 has a 144pin slot for memory expansion. Notebooks also have 144 pin slots for sodimm memory. I was wondering will the memory will be compatible.

prolly. The mpc 4000 is like dis, you can cop ram from akai for 3 times what it costs to get it from compusa.
