Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey fellas,

I sample straight into the 2000xl from the TT with no problems.

I then had to unplug stuff this morning, only to find when i plug the XLR jacks back into the 'Record In' slots, only to find that the Stereo right socket creates a huge buzzing and almost pulsing sound.

I was using a process of elimination with what the problem might be, TT works straight through the soundcard no dramas. So it's either the cords or the input jacks.

Has anyone had the same or similar issues before?

Thanks

It's all good Jules. I was just trying to eliminate what it could have been. Turns out it was the preamp!

Just had the same problem 2 days ago. I opened my 2000 and cleaned the memory (It shows 0 MB and Samplingtime --.--) and some other things. Now it is working again.
