If Youtube is any indication, there's nothing coming out of the 5000 that can't be done with the 1000.

For all the tech exchanges ,I sure would like to know what kind of poison Jahrome Shaheed has been cooking up.

Made this fresh out the box, the day I bought my first 5k (which was soon stolen). I went from never really using to putting this together...wasn't used to lining up vocals on hardware so the choruses are definitely "off." Oh well, nothing major, just getting my feet wet.

chopped up a record and some bass samples.

Im much better now though, gotta reinstall Audition so I can get some mp3s up here.

There is nothing coming out of any MPC that can't be accomplished in some way with FL Studio, Logic, etc. If you expected otherwise..than you are spending too much time in these forums. However...the 5K is more fun to use than those software packages and more fun to use than any MPC.....which is my humble opinion of course...and yes, I also spend way to much time in these forums....I can't play keyboards...Blue Haze did beat me up...Dabmeister did sleep wit my girl..and my 5K is still blasting funk the world :P

Considering the 5000 has a built in synth i m a not agree...

The 5000 can do stuff you can t do on the 1000.

I ll make some beats tonight only with the 5000 then you can judge it s power.

Not complete tracks but quiclky made loops ( i won t spend more than 15 min on a beat )

Here is a 16 bar loop made with the 5000 in less than 15 minutes , very simple only 8 tracks with the built in synth & some effetcs( no comp no eq )

Didin t have much time so ill try to provide other loops later.

This one doesn t really fit my style but i found it cool :)

I don t try to show you complete stuff but stuff you can do in a few minutes.

Enjoy

I tried to use some of the 5k's unique features like some EFX or chopping. Maybe I'll post some more and different styles (Drum'n'Bass in preparation, maybe World Music, too). Done only with the 5k, no additional gadgets.

I'm more into Hip-Hop but for your type of genre it's got a good feel. Keep making music man. I'll post some Hip-Hop and R&B tracks I did with the 5k next week when I get my power supply for my comp.

Thanks! What do you need your computer for? I tried to use only the MPC and even the Mixdown is great. Maybe I'll reprocess this project with some master EQ and compressor - distortion pulled up the bass quite a lot.

My DAWS(Digital Audio Workstations) are very important. Especially Pro-Tools. Mixing on the MPC is good but Pro-Tools is well PRO haha So far nothing beats Pro-Tools as far as mixing and mastering goes IMO

Expectation grows. I've uploaded two more tracks, one world music (Jele Hossa) another one drum 'n bass (Drum Etude):

With Jele Hossa I tried to layer samples and play with mute groups, voice control and such. While Drum Etude uses external equipment mixed down only with MPC's input thru.

I don't know if your into techno or trance because I've been hearing some dope beats from the 5k from my dudes on here, including my lil 3 sequences I through together

When I finish my website there will be full beats uploaded instead of simple 4 bar sequences. I just don't trust myspace, so I don't uploaded my dope finished instrumentals. Right now I'm producing my new artist Dawg Black so yall stay tuned, dude is fire with that hot production produced by yours truly 8) If you wanna hate thats str8, it's fuel for the FIYA! Respect to all who posted their beats, keep doing what you do. Everyone has a different style/ear, so someone who thinks a beat is horrible, the next man may think it's the next **** HIT. I know from experience haha Real talk!! Do you!
