Another way to do it is to go into the trim screen and on the sample you want, go into the Loop menu and turn the loop on (it's off by default). This will automatically turn the voice to Note off. Only thing is, the sample will loop once it's reached the end. This is good for if you wanted to make the last word or two or last note of a sample echo/delay. Just use the trimmer in the loop screen to set the echo how you want and hold the pad to audition it.
