COMPACT FLASH Reader MPC 1000

Hi guys, i've broken my built-in CF reader of my MPC1000.

I've opened it, and inside i found the pin to plug the CF broken, probably from pression in pushin the CF.

Do you know if an external Card reader like this:

can substitute the CF built-in reader?

or i need to buy the complete new slot // http://www.mpcstuff.com/mpc-1000-memory ... one-b.html

That looks like your standard card reader. In your case it will not be of any use since you still will not be able to use a CF card anyway.

That card reader is for the person who wants faster access to the files on the card. The USB transfer from the MPC is really slow. So this card reader makes it an easier process.



So in order for you to continue to use the CF card, you will have o repair the internal card reader....... *Ever since I installed my HD, I have not used my card at all.

ya bro that external card reader is basically a device u use when ur laptop for example cant read the card.or when the cf card dont fit the card slot u got on ur laptop..


so ya ur better off buying a new one yo...srry to say.
