Im totally new, got some questions.

Now i dont have anything besides a keyboard that can make soooome beats in a way.
Ive been wanting to get into makin beats and producing.
I wanna kno what do i need to be set up?
Like whats better for a beginner Mpc500 or 1000.
&& is there any other equipment i need??

try the mpc500...it's for beginners and very easy to learn...i had it for about 3 months...fuked wit it,and learned the basics...sold that shit and copped my 1k which was way easier to fuk wit since..i fuked wit the 500....so basically i would suggest on doing that.

now equipment wise..all i have is my 1k,micron,macg4,cubase,recycle,and my interface..and I DO make magic trust... it all depends what ur trying to do also...

Ok yeaa i was thinkin of getting the 500 to **** with.
Im looking just to make some sick beats.
just to see what i can do.

if i do good then ill get it more serious and put in more money

yo son u mite not even wanna buy an mpc right away. Thats a lot of money to drop on somethin your just starting with. Do you kno if your going to be sample based or composed? You should just start with some software program just to get your feet wet and see if you wanna stick this thing out instead of dropping hard doe and findin out its not wat u wanna do .
