Some times when I hear a song like Smif n Wessun's "K.I.M.", which samples paul mccartney drums, I actually imagine paul playing that **** live in their studio

Why does dude from SnW look like a wannabe Freeway now...which in turn is a wannabe Rick Ross?

I meant the REAL Rick Ross. The drug kingpin that's now in jail. His nickname used to be "Freeway," and he had a bald head with a big beard. So Freeway the rapper is the 1st Rick Ross wannabe. Rick Ross the rapper took it to a whole 'notha level though.

mccartneyII is a great album - made in his home studio with him playing everything. check my machine, a flip on one of the singles from the album is a standout. it's on the cd as a bonus track.

so what are those shrooms? they don't look like the gold tops (cubenis) around here.

"cant quite make this out"

He tricks them into saying "what's up dogg" ahah. it was on The Office. But also I find it trippy how such removed or distant elements come together in making certain rap songs. A great example is probably Ice Cube's "alive on arrival", which takes an otherwise happy-ass David Bowie (???) sample and turns it into one of the most menacing grooves on the album (death certificate).

Those shrooms aren't actually mine though :|

and I didn't know rick ross was the name of an actual gangster, that's some 50 cent s*** right there

It's interesting that you should mention McCartney II, the drums I was talking about were actually from McCartney I (fairly dope album), where he also played all the instruments. Never heard II, but I'm not into that '80s ish so
