noise when sampling

It's probably just noisy preamps, mine does the same. For one thing, it will probably sound even noisier if you're recording from the external inputs with nothing plugged into them.

Try this: Go into recording mode, and switch the recording source to "Main" from "Record In." Does the noise go away?

when i change to 'record in' the noise goes away.

I'd say it's the just a little preamp noise, especially if you're using a lot of gain. If it's like unbearable, do upload a sample for us to check out!
